When you need to communicate with the controller
Locate the two serial ports on the back of the enclosure (one on top of the other). Connect the nine pin serial cable to the top port. Using Hyper-terminal set the communication parameters as follows:

Press CTRL-R to refresh the screen, and it should look like the figure below.
From here press Enter and you will see the main menu.
